Data Manager

Last Update 11 dagen geleden

Without exporting your data or relying on external tools, you can manage customer submissions directly in the Shopify admin. To start, select the form whose submissions you want to manage, then click Add data link from More actions. A link named after the form will then appear in the Simply Forms navigation menu on the left-hand side of the Shopify admin.

Using Views

A view is a subset of a form’s submissions. You can define a view using search and filters.

  • Search applies to Text Input and Multi-line Input fields.

  • Filters can apply to most fields, except Multi-line Input, File Upload, or Photo Upload fields.

You can create a new view by clicking +, or by duplicating an existing view. Once created, a view can be edited, renamed, or deleted if no longer needed.

Editing Columns

Clicking the Edit Columns button displays a list of all fields in the form.

  • Check a column to show it on the page.

  • Uncheck a column to hide it from the page.

  • Move columns to change their order in the grid.

Deleting submissions

You can select one or more submissions. At the top of the data grid, the total number of selected submissions will be shown. At the end of the toolbar, you’ll see two options: Delete and Export as CSV.

Exporting Data

You can either select multiple submissions, and then Export as CSV, or using the Export button on the top right corner to export all submission of the specified form in a batch.

View and Manage a Submission

Clicking a submission in the data grid opens its detail page. On the detail page, you can:
  • Update the submission’s status.
  • Send transactional emails to the customer.
  • Post comments on the timeline whenever needed.
An internal email address in the format [email protected] is automatically added to the Reply-To field. If you CC this address in your emails, the communication will be logged in the submission’s timeline.

    View All Submissions

From the submission detail page, clicking 'View submission' will take you to a list of all submissions for that customer.

You can also find the 'View Simply Forms submissions' button in the actions menu on the Shopify Customer page.
