Simply Forms provides three ways to use Sign-in Prompt, depending on your use case.
Option 1: Create a Dedicated Sign-in Prompt Widget

How It Works
- A Sign-in Prompt element
- Optional static elements like headings, labels, images, links, etc.
- No input fields
App Block Settings in Theme Editor

| Visibility → Customer Visibility | Only visible to logged-out visitors |
Example

Add:
- A Sign-in Prompt widget
- A VIP Club Application form
| Form | Visibility → Customer Visibility |
| Sign-in Prompt Widget | Only visible to logged-out visitors |
| VIP Club Application Form | Only visible to logged-in customers |
Guest Visitor
- Sign-in Prompt is displayed
- VIP Club Application form is hidden
- Sign-in Prompt disappears
- VIP Club Application form becomes visible
Option 2: Add Sign-in Prompt to a Form

How It Works
- Add a Sign-in Prompt element to your form.
- Publish the form normally.
- The sign-in prompt is displayed
- The customer may continue as a guest
- Or click the sign-in link
- The customer is automatically redirected back to the current page
- Customer profile information is loaded
- The customer's previous order list becomes available

Visibility Control

Customer Visibility
In the Shopify Theme Editor, you can control whether a form is visible to:
- Everyone
- Logged-in customers only
- Logged-out visitors only
Customer Tag Visibility
Examples:
- VIP customers only
- Wholesale customers only
- Members only
- Approved distributors only
- Only customers with a specific tag can view it
- Customers with a specific tag cannot view it
- Different forms are displayed to different customer groups
